Most couples getting married are on some kind of a budget. (I know we were.) For many, the cost of hiring a professional videographer seems exorbitant and unjustifiable. If you are one of the many couples who can’t justify spending $2000 – $3000, or more, for a professional videographer, we would like to offer you a cheaper, yet viable alternative.
At most weddings, numerous people show up with video cameras to capture the moment. At Divine Designs we can work with the raw footage recorded by multiple amateur videographers, as well as a recorded audio track, if one exists, and combine them into one clean, edited movie that will joyously remind you of that wonderful day. Even professional videographers need to edit their material to produce a good movie. Hiring a professional videographer who only gives you the raw footage is likely to produce disappointing results for a lot of money.
The basic price for video footage editing is $200 per hour of original recorded footage. This price includes digitizing of analog video and/or capturing of digital video, editing footage with custom transitions, and output to Hi-8, VHS, S-VHS, Video CD, or DVD ($175 extra for DVD with custom menu screen. Additional features also available on DVD at extra charge.) Typically, 75-80% of the original footage is eliminated from the final cut. Your final product will be clean, dynamic, and fun to watch. Audio track synchronization is also available at an additional $175 per hour, but the audio track is generally only synchronized for the duration of the ceremony, usually well under an hour. All time charges are rounded to the nearest 6 minutes, with a minimum total charge of $200.

Finally, we would like to remind everyone that while we are very good at what we do, we can not perform miracles. We can stabilize video footage a little, combine footage from various cameras, and even tone down a washed out, otherwise important scene. We will do our best to work with what we have, but we still depend on the competence of your camera crew (family & friends).
